Who can apply? Undergraduate student in the Faculties of Arts & Humanities, Science and Social Science with an academic average above 70% may apply.
How long can I go for? 1 term (Summer/Fall/ Winter), or 1 full year
What is the language of teaching? English
How many credits do I need to take? Fall and Winter terms provide five term-length courses (the equivalent of 2.5 UWO credits) Spring Term provides three term-length courses (the equivalent of 1.5 UWO credits) Summer Term provides two term-length courses (the equivalent of 1.0 UWO credit)
When does school starts at The International Study Centre?
  • Fall Term (September to December),
  • Winter Term (January to April),
  • Spring Term (May to mid-June),
  • Summer Term (mid-June to mid-July)

Can I live On-campus? Yes, the term fee covers:
  • Tuition
  • Room and board: shared accommodation (2 students per room) and full meal plan
  • Field studies trips: transportation, entrance fees and lunches, as well as accommodation and breakfast on overnight excursions.
  • Access to ISC facilities and services including computing rooms, library and fully equipped sports room.
  • Regular trips to the libraries (and borrowing privileges at) the University of Sussex
  • Regular banking/shopping trips to nearby towns
  • Transfers to and from Heathrow airport on designated dates
