Fall 2013 Reception Service
The International and Exchange Student Centre at Western provides a Reception Service especially for newly arriving international students. We are here to answer any questions you may have and help you get organized and settled here at Western and in London. The service includes:
- Individual assistance from our IESC Welcome Team and IESC staff
- "After Office Hours" Welcome Helpline
When does it start?
Monday, August 26th to Friday, August 30th, 2013
IESC Welcome Team volunteers are available to meet with you and assist you upon your arrival on campus from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday, September 3rd to Friday, September 6th, 2013
IESC Welcome Team volunteers are available to help you in the IESC Welcome Centre from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
NOTE: NOTE: Most Western offices, including the International and Exchange Student Centre, will be closed on Saturday, August 31st and Sunday, September 1st . Also most Western offices including IESC and most businesses and stores in Canada will be closed on Monday, September 2nd - as the result of an official Canadian Holiday (Labour Day). Please note however, that IESC staff will be available to answer questions and provide information on Monday September 2nd during International Student Orientation Day Part 1. After Office Hours
From Monday, August 26th to Tuesday, September 3rd, 2013
When our service is closed, we have an after office hours WELCOME HELPLINE, 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.
Be sure to identify yourself as a newly arrived international student who will be attending Western.
Our Reception Assistant will be available to provide information and a warm welcome while the University offices are closed.
