Appointments

We offer free one-on-one tutoring sessions to help you achieve greater long-term success in your writing abilities. Whatever your place in the University of Western Ontario community, our counsellors will provide useful and informed feedback about your writing. Undergraduates, graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, faculty, and staff members have all used our services.

Bring in an assignment at any stage of the writing process: we can help you get started, work on a thesis, build an outline, critique a draft, focus on grammar and punctuation, discuss referencing styles, and much more. Our friendly writing counsellors can help you with your work, regardless of your discipline.

An appointment also gives you the opportunity to gather useful resources that clarify a variety of writing concerns, so that you may refer to what you learn during the appointment as you work on your future assignments.
