Individual Counselling

Our role is to provide targeted, brief, change-oriented counselling.  If you believe you require longer-term treatment, we will do our best to assist you in finding appropriate services to help meet your needs.

Counselling Appointments:

Counsellors support clients facing issues such as (but not limited to): anxiety, depression, adjustment to university, relationships, grief, trauma and abuse, sexuality, gender identity, sexual assault

Walk-in Single Sessions:

Walk-in Single Session appointments may be available in addition to regularly scheduled appointment times.  During Winter and Spring exam periods special walk-in sessions will be available to assist students during these stressful times.

To book, please visit us in-person in room 4100 of the Western Student Services Building.  For walk-in sessions, appointments are booked on a first-come first-served basis.

***PLEASE NOTE: single session, walk-in appointments do not replace our crisis services.  If you are in crisis, please call us or visit the Reception/Intake office to book an appointment.***
